I'm in a really good mood! first time in like.... i have been in a good mood ever since Monday morning! I am sooo happy that i have this class it is the best class i have. Ms. E best teacher ever... i am glad you had fun at winter fest! yeah I'm pretty pumped for this short story that was just a grand idea. Below is something i wrote a little while ago.

Throughout you life there are many boundaries and obstacles that need to be overcome to succeed and accomplish you goals. When you face obstacles in life it can be very hard to surmount them and it requires a great deal of work ethic. I have had many situations where it became evident that i needed to work hard to complete my goals and succeed in life. Here are some of my many situations that show my wonder full work ethic.
In ninth grade i was struggling to make Walled Lake Centrals junior varsity ice hockey team. In order to overcome this obstacle i had to work out and practice daily. While practicing i would also have to not fall behind in my school work because that would also make me fall short of my goal. After weeks of hard work and determination i stepped on the ice for tryouts. It was cold in the rink that gloomy afternoon and it seemed surreal how many other players were there. Coach Lis blew the whistle and we were off skating drills, passing drills, and shooting drills all to evaluate our skills. It all became a blur with players whirling around the ice like on a highway. Then finally the final whistle blew and coach started to call names. One name went by, two names went by, three names went by, then finally it happened coach called my name. I was so ecstatic
In eleventh grade i was in an honors world literature class. This class was very difficult for me, but i tried my best. Before i knew it the end of the year was upon me and that meant a final exam was coming soon. I was excited to hear that Mrs. Terry Carlson my teacher had decided to do a class project instead of a final exam. That day in class she handed out the rubric walking row by row. When i got the instruction sheet i was flabbergasted at how easy the project seem and pushed it to the back of my mind considering that we still had two weeks left to complete it. Night after night something more important than my final exam would arise until i realized i only had two days left to complete this project. That's when i realized what a big mistake procrastinating was! I worked hour after hour, read story after story, and typed page after page until this fifteen page project was completely finished. It wasn't till my head finally hit the pillow at two A.M. that i realized how much i had procrastinated and what a mistake it was. I also then realised then how easy it would of been to have given up and accepted a sub par grade on that project. My work ethic is what pulled me through, without it i would of been sunk and would of never gotten the project finished.
This past summer i realized that i needed to get a car, but i had no money in the bank. I then applied at countless businesses until i found a job with a construction company. I worked forty hour weeks all summer at 9 dollars an hour. I worked till my face turned blue. This took the most work ethic that i have ever used. There were days when i just wanted to quit, i was physically, emotionally, and mentally exhausted. When i wanted to quit i would just focus on the car that i wanted and it would help me dwell up the energy that i needed to complete the task. It it wasn't for my amazing work ethic i would of never been able to get my ninety seven Ford Ranger by the end of the summer.
Work ethic is an important aspect in every ones life and it is one of the most important qualities that any person can have. It helped me make the junior varsity hockey team, Complete my work literature project in only one night, and get my ninety seven ford ranger in only one summer. Through all of my hard times and overcoming my obstacles that have arose my work ethic has been a major factor in me succeeding along with my overall mental strength.

This is basically the worst thing i have ever wrote... and it is basically the reason why i think that there is no possible way that i will get into state. The sad thing is almost none of it is true ha ha good thing they don't know that! this isn't the final copy either thank god way to many errors! well I'm off to do some math.
